I found a very thought provoking post about really 3 things that we have total control over.  It came from Sports Psychology (@SportPsychTips) and they shared this: “Motivation leads to discipline. Discipline leads to habits. Habits lead to success.” While I was having some coffee, I came across this reminder for me (and all of us) that our motivation, discipline and habits are all things we can (and should) control.  There are many times I struggle with one, two or all three of these and then I run into problems.  Remember this that I would always tell my students (also telling them that I needed this advice many days way more than they did), either we discipline ourselves or the world (someone) will do it for us. When we give up control of these 3 items, we usually don’t like the way life or others are doing it for us.
