Woke up this morning a little bit earlier than normal, mostly thanks to our dog… but also because I heard something recently that if you wake up early and your mind is thinking about something that fires you up or something you want to do - it does no good to try and fall back asleep.  Your best bet is to wake up and attack the day. To actually do something about the thing(s) you are thinking about.  That helped me to get up early too.  I’m part of this Mental Toughness Academy group, run by Ben Newman and it’s become part of my morning routine to check in with the group after my usual a.m. readings that I do.  Today the group had a few normal posts to start the day, but one caught my attention more than usual.  It was all about many times that the pain or tough times we have in our lives, can be really a source of strength or improvement for us.  I thought of this because of some events this past weekend that reminded me that ALL OF US have things we are dealing with. I’m like everyone else that has “stuff”
