True friendship is more than companionship; it’s made up of selflessness, sacrifice, and security. Like Jonathan and David, true friends lay down their lives for each other, stand side by side in every season, and offer a seat at the table despite the challenges. Their bond reflects God’s love, blessing each other through thick and thin. Let’s seek out friendships that embody these qualities, walking together in faith and grace, while also striving become this type of friend. “Two are better than one, Because they have a good reward for their labor. For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Again, if two lie down together, they will keep warm; But how can one be warm alone? Though one may be overpowered by another, two can withstand him.
