Paradigm

What are we going to do when we get to heaven? How will things we experience in life now compare to what we experience then? Last night, we looked at these things through the lens of Psalm 16:11, "You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore." We looked at how work and rest, relationships, emotions, entertainment, and worship will all be different in Heaven. These things occupy our time here on Earth, but each will be the most satisfying in the place that the Lord is preparing for us. We will never be able to fill any void with anything but the Lord's presence; there we will find true joy and pleasure. "But, as it is written, "What no eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has prepared for those who love him"- these things God has revealed to us through the Spirit.
