Some of today's top storiesWe have more information this morning on a story we brought you as breaking news yesterday on 17 News at Sunrise.    It's about an officer-involved shooting in an area near Brimhall Road and Calloway Drive.    According to the Sheriff's Office, a welfare check turned into an exchange of gunfire with the suspect.    But, KCSO will not tell us whether the person shot is dead or alive.     17's Mikhala Armstrong reports.It is already turning into a busy fire season for local firefighters...    As fires rage on across Kern County... including one northeast of Bakersfield. The so-called "Cow fire" started just after 11:30 yesterday morning along Highway 178 and Kern River Canyon Road.    It was actually two fires - about a mile apart.    Some 80 firefighters from multiple agencies fought the flames from the ground and the air.    Emergency crews were forced to close Highway 178 for most of the day, due to the hazards from the fire, falling rocks, and heavy equipment operating on the road
