Some of today's top storiesFarm workers protested outside the Marriott Hotel in downtown Bakersfield yesterday morning, as a hearing got underway in the case of Wonderful Nurseries versus United Farm Workers.     The workers claim they were tricked into unionizing with the U-F-W and they want out. The workers allege the U-F-W approached them... offering $600 in COVID-19 relief funds... as part of a federal program for farm and food workers.     They say they were told signing what they did not know was a union authorization card... was part of the process.
