With a lot of Boston Red Sox regulars at the World Baseball Classic, many prospects are getting an extended look in spring training.Marcelo Mayer and Miguel Bleis are two of those prospects and they impressed Alex Cora during their recent games. NESN's Lauren Willand breaks down their plate appearances and how Bleis flashed the leather in the outfield and how he was a bright spot in the Red Sox's lopsided 16-3 loss to the Toronto Blue Jays. Lauren also goes over that, even though it's fine to get excited about prospects, they will make mistakes that likely won't happen often once they are developed and ready for MLB.Later Lauren discusses Kiké Hernândez's walk-off single in the World Baseball Classic for Puerto Rico over Israel and why it was a rarity since it happened in the eighth inning.
