Our guest today on the MGMA Member spotlight podcast is Felicia Nicely, Practice Administrator at Owensboro Health for Gastroenterology and Preventive Services. Felicia is a recipient of The Future Five award, which annually recognizes five professionals in healthcare who are within the first five years of their careers. Each of these recipients "has demonstrably impacted their organization or the industry." In Felicia's case, she has worked to improve efficiencies and opportunities for workflow improvement, as well as, community outreach and engagement. She has also focused on helping decrease the rate of lung cancer mortalities.
