Franny Tacy was raised in a farming family and developed a passion for plant medicine and regenerative agriculture. After leaving home for Northern Arizona University to study forestry, she found another farm to call home and host a monthly "Full Moon Festival". Franny went on to receive a graduate degree in education from Tennessee State University and had a successful career in pharmaceutical sales, but was frustrated with the "unhealthcare system". In 2012, she left her corporate career to create Franny's Farm in Leicester, North Carolina, where she found the power of the hemp plant for plant medicine, regenerative agriculture, and sustainable industry, becoming the first female hemp farmer in North Carolina in 75 years.
