The only thing protecting me from the outside was a mosquito net and a man who sat on a bucket right outside the entrance.    I spent many nights crying out to God and asking, “Why Me?” He reminded me that I was created for connection and that I was created to be a voice for good. I knew at that point that I would have to fight, fight for myself and fight for the community I was serving. But that together, in partnership with God, we were going to create a beautiful community.    In my discomfort, I found all the answers I was looking for. So I encourage you to embrace discomfort because, in that, you will find purpose and true alignment.
