For the opening ceremony of the IBSA World Blind Games 2023 at the Birmingham Symphony Hall DJ Hurricane was there warming up the crowds prior to all the speeches, dance performances and live music. Elizabeth was a Volunteer at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham last year and this is her first time volunteering at a blind games although Elizabeth has had some contact working with blind children as a teacher in the past.  Elizabeth will also be one of the flag bearers at the opening ceremony at Symphony Hall in Birmingham too. This summer over 1,250 blind and partially sighted athletes from 70 countries are competing in 10 sports at the IBSA World Games in Burmingham. Our David Hogg caught up with one of them, VI Judoka Evan Molloy.
