Paul, Timothy, and the Philippians Many of Paul’s letter start with a prayer for the church and in the letter to the Philippians Paul says “I thank my God in all my remembrance of you. Can you see it? Paul is in prison, and he is looking back to what God had done in the past. This week we will look back at why Paul finds joy in remembering all that God has done in the life of the Philippian church. Have a listen to the second episode and learn how you can find joy in looking back on all that God has done in your life.

Letter Overview We are living in a world where our reactions are driven by our circumstances. Talk about Covid-19 with others and you see reactions like fear, anger, disgust, and sadness. Talk about politics, sports, biblical truth and everyone has a different reaction. As Christians we are called to rejoice in all circumstances but how do we do this in the midst of our current circumstances? The apostle Paul is going to show us how to have joy through the book of Philippians. This week we will overview this powerful letter to the church at Philippi.

How Suffering Ignites Passion This is it…Episode 6 of Ignite Your Passion for God and we are going to look at Jesus' instructions to the disciples as He sends them out into the world. There are a few guarantees in life that we can count on. Christmas is always on December 25th, The Toronto Maple Leafs will always disappoint, and Christians are destined to suffer for the gospel. On this week’s episode we will look at how suffering for the gospel can ignite our passion for God.

Ignite Your Passion For Sharing the Gospel When we have a greater passion for God’s Word we want to share it with others. Passionate People talk about the things they are most passionate about and this week we look at how our service to the Lord can ignite our passion for God. We will look at Jesus' prayer in John 17 as well as how the apostle Paul approached the church at Corinth when he shared the gospel. This episode is all about sharing Jesus with others.

Ignite Your Passion for Worship When we hear the word worship, we automatically think we are talking about music. We are all drawn to different types of music to express our love to God. Worship is not just about music; it is all about showing God His worth. There are times when our apathy doesn’t allow us to truly worship God. This week we will look at how true worship can ignite passion for God.

Ignite Your Passion for Prayer E.M. Bounds wrote “prayer is the greatest of all forces because it honors God and brings Him into active aid.” Prayer is another way to stoke the fire in our relationship with God. Every time we pray we are in a conversation with the One who has the power to move the world. This week we will take a closer look at how prayer moves God into action. We will look at six ways in having a passionate prayer life and four barriers to experiencing the power of passionate prayer.

Ignite Your Passion for God's Word In the first episode, we looked at the what’s and why’s of apathy. Apathy is something that creeps into our lives and it is hard to recognize because our pride won’t allow us to admit that we are losing our passion for God. This week we look at 3 keywords found in 2 Chronicles 34 and these 3 words will be the foundation to lighting the fire of our faith. Join us as we take a closer look at one of the great revivals in the history of Judah and Jerusalem.

Apathy is a Fire Extinguisher In this episode, we are launching a brand new series on how to deal with apathy. What is it that causes us to lose that passion and fire for God? We will look at a number of distractions that draw our attention away from God.

Insulate Don't Isolate In our final episode of the Resolve podcast series we will look at how we should live with Resolve. We will fast forward to 597 BC where God gives Jeremiah a message for the exiles in how they should live while in captivity. Join us as we see how Jeremiah 29 can apply to us today.

“Resolve To Do Things With Excellence” Did you know that you as Christians are being watched? Every day people are looking to either learn from you or catch you in a position that will prove the point “I told you Christians were hypocrites.” Daniel lived his life with integrity and never compromised his relationship with God. We have all heard the saying “the writing is on the wall”. This week we will look at the origin of this phrase through the life of Belshazzar who would be the last king over Babylon. The Medes and the Persians were ready to invade but Belshazzar was too busy to have a celebration with the Lord’s Holy vessels. Arrogance has no place in the life of an alien. This week we will look at why Pride is not an option for believers.

In this episode, we will take a closer look at the life of Nebuchadnezzar and his encounter with God in Daniel 4. Who is really in charge? So often we try to run our lives as though we are in complete control. Are you willing to admit that God is in control of all things? Join us as we see how Nebuchadnezzar responded to that very question.

How do we define integrity? This week we look at Daniel chapter 3 and 3 examples of men with integrity. Shadrach, Meshach and Abendego take a stand for their faith, a faith they are willing to die for because they hold the worship of God as the main priority in their lives. This week we will look at Daniel chapter 2. Nebuchadnezzar has a vision concerning not only himself but what is to come in future days. Join us as we take a closer look at Nebuchadnezzar’s dream and how it applies to us today.

The first thing Nebuchadnezzar wanted to do was immerse these captives in their new culture by changing four key areas of their lives.
