    Emmy nominations dropped this week, and our beloved Watchmen walked away with 26 nominations! Nearly all the major players, the cinematography, the music and more were rewarded with nominations this year. We dive into that, as well as a few other nominations that caught our eye as we begin what will prove to be a very unique awards season. In other major news, AMC Theatres and Universal Pictures cut a landmark deal following AMC's banishing of Universal properties after the VOD release of trolls earlier this summer. Now, AMC will allow films to be released on VOD after a shortened exclusivity window of just 17 days. This is a huge shift away from the 90 day window before it, and so we discuss just how much of an impact this will have on the theater-going industry.
