Finally got back into the Phever radio studios after nearly 5 months of lockdown and was eager to get busy behind the turntables. I selected some grade A funk bangers to play in the mix and loved every minute of it. Hope you dig.

Merry Christmas everyone, hope you're having a safe and happy one. I was planning on spinning a Christmas show tomorrow, but we're back in lockdown again and I can't get into the studio. Deeply saddened to hear the news that the legendary reggae star Toots Hibbert passed on a couple of days ago. He truly was one of the biggest stars in the genre and even coined the term "Reggae" to describe the sound of the music coming out of Jamaica. I was blessed to have seen his group, Toots & The Maytals, play several times and have decided to put together a collection of my favourite songs as a tribute to one of the best ever.
