In his sermon, “Make a Way,” Pastor Nathan Miller recounts the story of the Gentile woman in Matthew 15– a perfect illustration that what you magnify, you manifest. In Matthew 15, the woman’s circumstances seemed stacked against her. Though her reality in the natural couldn’t be further from ideal, she made a decision to worship, allowing fresh faith and courage to break forth in her situation. Her worship made a way where there seemed to be no way. Be encouraged that as you worship, He will make a way for you too!

Sometimes in life fear and confusion paralyze us from moving forward in what God has called us to. In Pastor Joie’s sermon, “My Next Six Steps,” 2 Samuel 6 is the focus as the message reminds us that we are too blessed to be stressed and too anointed to be disappointed. While you may not know what lies ahead on your path, rest assured you know who goes before you. Even when you feel as though you’re moving backward, praise will propel you forward into God’s plans! May your next six steps to your promise be paved with praise, and be encouraged that as long as you’re praising, you’re progressing.

In Part 2 of “Work Your Miracle," Pastor Nathan Miller shares the story of Abram and Sarai–later Abraham and Sarah–and how they tried to see their miracle come to pass in their own strength, in turn birthing Ishmael, while God's plans involved Isaac. This week's message stresses the importance of not falling out of step with the Holy Spirit, either from falling behind or pushing ahead. As seen in Genesis 16, stepping out of divine alignment with the Holy Spirit runs you the risk of working a mess, instead of a miracle! Stay in step with the Holy Spirit, remaining obedient to God, and ask yourself– what are the “Ishmaels” you need to get rid of to make room for the “Isaacs”?

In his sermon, “Work Your Miracle,” Pastor Nathan Miller recounts the story of David in 1 Samuel–how an unlikely man was crowned by God to be king. You’ve probably heard the phrase, “New levels, new devils.” This week’s sermon discusses the top five tactics and voices used by the enemy to get God’s chosen people out of a place of victory. From feeling insignificant to experiencing doubt or complacency, like David, when there is a call on your life, you can expect to experience some voices contrary to the Word of God. However, be encouraged that when you praise, you raise. When you get the Word of God in you, you are anointed to win, overcome, and work your miracle!

In Mark 2 the paralyzed man had friends that had persistent faith to receive a breakthrough miracle for their friend. Sometimes in our own life, we may need to rip off roofs and take down walls by faith to receive God's blessings. God is searching for a people that will do whatever it takes to walk out His Word!

In 1 Kings 18 when the land was in severe drought, when everything seemed desolate, Elijah had faith to believe the Lord would send rain. He interceded in prayer and then came a cloud the size of a man's hand. Have you felt defeated when you knew the Lord gave you a word but you don't see how that word could come to pass? There is a cloud and your breakthrough is coming. The later rain is greater than the former rain! Listen is as Pastor Joie builds our faith to believe for the rain!

We can learn in Mark 4:13 Jesus was teaching the parable about receiving the Word of God on good soil to produce a harvest of thirty, sixty and even a hundred times as much as had been planted. Are you feeling the tension? That is where our faith grows! In Mark 5, we learn that Jairus' daughter dies. In search of a miracle, Jairus seeks Jesus to save her. In the face of what looked like Jairus' biggest defeat, in Mark 5: 36, "Don't be afraid, just have faith." Jesus goes on to resurrect his daughter! When we just have faith, God takes care of the rest. The Lord is looking for people that have fervent faith to believe for the impossible!

Pastor Joie closes out the Spirit Wars series with a powerful word for today! As a Christian in today's society, there are many different things to try and grab our attention, media, music, politics, etc. When the world keeps pushing its agenda, we are faced with a choice to bow or to stand. In the book of Daniel, we can learn from Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego who refused to bow a knee to the political ruler Nebuchadnezzar. Because they stood for God, God was faithful to protect them, even when they were thrown into the fiery furnace. Whatever the world tries to throw at us, if we stand firm in our faith, we will go through the fire and not even smell like smoke!

"Be on guard; stand firm in your faith [in God, respecting His precepts and keeping your doctrine sound]. Act like [mature] men and be courageous; be strong." 1 Corinthians 16:13 Join us this Father's Day as Pastor Nathan teaches us how to be who we are called to be. In order to grow our spirit man, we have to ask God to burn up any complacency so we can stay disciplined in growing our faith. Our society is trying to redefine what a man should look like. We must rely on what God's Word says a man should be. In Joshua 14 we can learn from Caleb how a man of God should act... a bold conqueror to take the land for God's Kingdom! Same demons, new day! Have you wondered about where the wickedness in the world comes from? We have answers in God's Word! In 1 Kings 18 we see the characteristics of Baal, Asherah and Jezebel. The same characteristics of wickedness that existed thousands of years ago, still exist today. We go on to read that through the Prophet Elijah, God shows up mightily, putting all other gods to shame. God is looking for a remnant of people that will stand up for what is true and bring light to darkness!

Do you feel like you are struggling through life? Going through the motions just to get by? You are made for more! In order to dominate in life you need the Holy Spirit's power. Pastor Nathan teaches us in Acts about the day of Pentecost when the Holy Spirit fell on the people of God. That same power can be accessed today to strengthen us and fight for us.

Pastor Joie teaches us this Mother’s Day how to “letgo” of control and fear! In Genesis 12 we learn how Abraham learned to let go of his own plan and give all control over to God. When we trust God with even our greatest desires like our children, our relationships, our finances, and our jobs, we will see God do exceedingly and abundantly more than we ever could have imagined!
