(Podcast contains Spoilers) Screen Verdict is happy to kick off one of our favourite series to talk about - The Hunger Games. Without our book expert Jess Jones on location, she sends in some of her thoughts by carrier pigeon. Jonathan is also able to yell across Screen Verdict HQ at his girlfriend Bonnie Efrid for clarifications on the book to film adaptation. Throughout the podcast we take a look at the post-apocalyptic health care system, why making propaganda videos is harder than it looks, and takes sides in Gale v Peeta. From across the globe Matt and Jonathan review Interstellar, which travels across the universe as Matthew Mcconaughey attempts to find another home for humans. We discuss our expectations based on recent works by director Christopher Nolan and the trending Matthew Mcconaughey. This week Screen Verdict reviews the film Birdman in which Michael Keaton plays an actor tackling a serious role 20 years after he turned down the third film in a blockbuster superhero franchise. (Sound familiar?) Matt and Jonathan discuss their expectations, a Q and A with Michael Keaton and Edward Norton, and review the rest of the notable cast.
