Then it's on to your lawn and garden questions! When building a raised bed, Mike prefers composite lumber. It's easy to over water your potted plants in the wintertime. A little trick to use is to wait until the dirt is dry and starts to pull away from the side of the pot before it needs watered again. Hour 1 of 2.

While decomposing plant matter is usually good for your lawn, you'll still want to rake up most of your leaves otherwise they may hold too much moisture and lead to fungus problems. Plus, your Leyland Cypress' are probably being overwatered if they're not doing well, especially in Missouri soil. Don't forget, sometimes your plants are just getting old and will be less resiliant. Then it's your lawn and garden questions including Ginko trees. We learned that you can still lay sod this time of year, just prepare the soil first! Plus, it's natural for a Blue Spruce to have brown interior needles, but if all of the needles are brown trunk to tip, then cut that branch off, it's a goner. Hour 2 of 2.
