Here’s a test drive of our three featured storytellers: Laura Martin is in over-DRiVE scheduling the giant Idaho Potato on its transcontinental truck trips. On September 26th, 2016 Story Story had a special fundraiser featuring a favorite slammer from each of the shows during the 15/16 season. Over an extended break with some jailhouse rock, the story slammers became real jailbirds—in lockup as the crowd posted bail on their favorite confessions. The top 3 were set loose to come clean on the theme FREEDOM. Congratulations to our finalists Sheli Gartman, Kevin Mullin, and Sara Jo John. The winner goes down in infamy—labeled the “Best Slammer of the Year 2016.” Take no prisoners style.

STORiES SO GOOD, THEY'RE CRiMiNAL Talk about a rap sheet. In an arresting new fundraising showdown, Story Story Night is doing some solid time at the Old Idaho Penitentiary by taking our hit story slammers into custody. Slammers in the Slam spotlights the most captivating slammers from every show of 2015/16 season—each telling a 5-minute story on the theme CAGED in front of a jury of their peers.
