We talk about the 1980s classic: Fright Night. Directed by Tom Holland, starring Roddy McDowall, Amanda Bearse, William Ragsdale and Chris Sarandon. It is a fun but still scary, horror movie that revels in campy vampire lore at a time when movies about 'demented madmen in ski-masks, hacking up young virgins' were all the rage. We talk about the well-respected venom mob film, The Kid with the Golden Arm. Released in 1979 and directed by Chang Cheh it stars Lo Meng, Philip Kwok, Helen Poon, Lu Feng, Sun Chien, and many other astounding talents. It is about an escort company tasked by the government with transporting a shipment of gold to victims of famine. They must face traps and ambushes from the cunning Chi Sha gang along the way, as well as content with their own internal turmoil. A simple plot with some fun twists, and a ton of great fight scenes, this movie has something for both wuxia fans and kung fu fanatics. We talk about how it influenced one of the adventures we provide in Righteous Blood, Ruthless Blades.  The song "Righteous Blood" was provided by Pipa-Playing Witch.
