Sinopsis

The long and short of it is that the three of us started getting together every Wednesday morning to drink coffee, take a break and figure out how we were going to make an impact (and how we could work together to do so). We called it 'Solving the World's Problems Coffee Hour'. We chatted about all kinds of ideas: research, new workouts, combining things, and crazy ideas we heard on podcasts. Then it dawned on us. We should start a podcast. Yep, that is how we thought we might be able to make a dent into the worlds problems (it all starts with a dent, right?) So here we are now. Several months of planning, brainstorming and politely asking Kyle's friend Justin (the awesome AV guy) if he could help us out. So what it's all about is that Clinically Pressed is going to be a traveling podcast and we will be recording on location. We are going to interview experts around the country from all health/nutrition/performance professions as well as include round table discussions covering major topics and questions. Our goal is to provide as much information as we can that is useful to viewers/listeners, and do it all at no cost. We want to make the complicated simple and make it something you can apply to your life. We hope you enjoy!

    10/05/2018 Duración: 22min

We had the distinct honor of teaming up with Coulee Health and O'Brien Physical Therapy to help out at the Grandad's Half Marathon in La Crosse, WI.  During our time providing post race soft tissue treatments we seemed to have a lot of reoccurring themes that we would talk about with all of the runners.  Well since we were there we figured why not create a short episode and lay down some ideas to help aide in recovery.   Without getting to far into the details in this episode we do outline a lot of the 'simple' things we think you can implement into your recovery strategy to get ready for the next race or just get back and get ready for your next round of training.  Check them out and see what you can apply to your recovery strategy. --- Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/clinicallypressed/support

    05/04/2018 Duración: 01h01min

After attending a Dry Needling course and getting some fantastic extra clinical pearls this one really stuck out to me. It was extremely interesting to think about utilizing lumbar adjustments as rehab, through the stretch reflex of muscles. We aren't downplaying rehab at all and think it is really important but I had never thought of this concept as something that worked in this way. So I did my best to recap it.
