He is up-to-date on his shots and has been neutered. Rico tested heartworm + when he first arrived at our shelter on December 10th, 2021. He has completed his heartworm treatment. It took awhile to get Rico to warm up to us and to not be afraid. He is a completely different dog now, and loves his people! Rico may need a few minutes to warm up to you, too, but once he does you will be best friends and cuddle buddies for life! Rico loves to play with toys. When he first came in it didn’t seem like he knew what they were, but now that he understands the concept of them he will play. He is a sweet and quiet dog. He would do well in a home of any type: dogs, cats or kids. He is around 80lbs but is a gentle giant.
