Chris confirms that he's fixed the radiator leak in his Chrysler 300, and Ray talks about the horrors of working with rusty old bolts. The positive difference a spark plug change and other simple maintenance can have on your car is also covered. A caller talks about Pinto & Maverick troubles & modifications, then the boys share a terrific interview with Marty Schulte from EclipseSunshades.net.

Ray & Chris spend the hour talking with Luke Tucker from www.EZRED.com about all the great products his company develops and sells. Luke starts right off by telling us what the name EZ-RED means while laying out the rich family history of the company. The talk soon turns to their vast array of LEDs, with the popular neck lights being highlighted. Our resident tool expert Matcoman Brian calls in to convey his thoughts from the tool truck.

While celebrating the radio station's landslide win at the IBS Media Awards, Ray & Chris break the news that some car shows are coming back for the upcoming show season. The talk turns to Hi-Po Chevy intake manifolds, the rain patterns in Florida, and an update of Chassis John's Firebird projects. Chris finds out he has a new admirer when the guys from the U.D. call-in to talk shop and inflate his ego a little bit.

Ray & Chris talk with their longtime friend & author Ryan Brutt, who you'll know from Hot Rod magazine and his social media platforms as "The Auto Archeologist". The boys ask Ryan how he spots the barn finds he writes about as well as the upcoming restoration of his own 71 Challenger. The sad passing's of industry icons Mr. Norm of Grand Spaulding Dodge and Bruce Meyers of Meyers Manx fame are remembered as well.

The boys have the pleasure of interviewing Eddie from Lisle tools, who talks about the company history, and their "Idea Program" where people can send in a new tool idea and Lisle will consider putting it into production. To get the real "man in the trenches" report, MatcoMan Brian calls in and shares his tool truck stories about selling this iconic tool brand.

Chris talks about how at times a car guy has to work in tight spaces to position their cars, a caller tells a story about a nurse & propofol use followed by the merits of using the dishwasher to clean car parts. A Volvo with cooling system issues and Ray's daughter's RAV4 suspension maladies round out this hour.

Ray proves that he's his own worst enemy where snowblowers are concerned, & Chris talks about temperature related car noises, which leads us into a weird service problem that Ray found on an SUV. An old show bit "Quiz the Swiz" makes its return this week, and Ray talks about snow play in his FJ, followed by how to best sell his beloved Mazda.

The boys catch up with their grass roots Mopar contact from the West Coast, Elana Scherr. We cover Ray's admitted tool envy of Elana's home shop, the Opel project that's a hit onYouTube, and weird Chrysler parts oddities Elana shares with Chris. We also talk about Elana's Turbo T/A project car and her involvement with a few iconic Scott Harvey Rallye cars.

Shop practices are called to order & discussed this week when Ray talks about following a redneck YouTube mechanic's service advice when replacing his Mazda A/C clutch. Dealing with "stretch belt" and Sansabelt technology gets discussed in depth along with antenna signal issues and Camaro leaf spring replacement with high performance parts.

Ray & Chris get a break from the rigors of carrying the show this week when A-List guest Steve Magnante is on. Steve covers his Junkyard Gold show on MotorTrend TV, and even gave us some insight as to how he pitches those shows to network executives. Steve also clues us in on his current Podcast & the upcoming Barret-Jackson auction coverage.

The boys talk about those weird habits car guys typically have and share with others, including the finer points of driving a car with a clutch & stick shift. A callers concern was addressed about using high mileage motor oil in her car, the new GM logo gets discussed, and 2+2 Gum Cutter use is explored. Ray's interest is piqued when a caller asks about selling his gently used Snap-On tools.

The MotorMouth's kick off the new year with talk about compromised driving positions, Ray's 2AM car repair and Chris' naggingly problematic power antenna installation. Ray's Christmas wish list of Matco tools came in handy, but HeyMatcoMan Brian didn't have as good of a tool experience when removing a replacement brake banjo bolt.

Pirate Paul sits in with Ray this week where they end the year by having Dina from DinaPariseVentures.com on to talk about the upcoming race season and the recent video she inspired. Besides racing safety, the boys talk about oddball bucket-list tool desires and garage heater choices.

Winter is approaching so the guys had plenty of small engine and snowblower stories to share. From leaky carburetor's that need a rebuild to small engine maintenance, to the real MotorMouth fun.... equipment modifications! As always, the talk turned to holiday food and Ray's monstrous lasagna creations which did nothing more but make us all quite hungry.

We found out that Ray's recent mouse and racoon infestation problem is only 1/1000th as bad as Chris', so we change the topic and talk about Ray's tool obsession where he painted the logos on his Snap-On ratchets. We learn that no good repair goes un-returned when Ray works on his daughter's flat tire, then a caller asks for a recommendation to purchase a set of jack stands. We end the show with Chris' question of "what constitutes a person being a car guy?"

Chris laments the axing of DeSoto from the Chrysler lineup from 60 years ago, but Ray pulls him out of it by talking about the way those early Hemi's ran so smoothly. The boys swap stories about some frozen spark plugs they've dealt with, which leads into a tale about rebuilding old door panels. The topper is Matcoman Brian calling to talk about the "bust my balls" holiday promotion starting on his Maryland tool truck this week.

The project Mustang is just about ready for the boys to work on, and the project FJ Cruiser is getting powder coated rims. Ray eliminated the gack that was encrusted under the trucks console, and the interior is back together again. Things found in used cars gets talked about, and a caller relates his story of finding and sealing a water leak in his Suburban-all this and much more on this weeks show.

It's vintage week on MotorMouth Radio when the boys cover using 39 year old tires on a project car, lament the cancellation of the Edsel 61 years ago, and compare their mechanical car clocks. Moving forward, using modern rims on old cars, and previous owners who are slobs raises some hackles, only to be topped off with some old motor-home restoration stories from the listeners... a fun show indeed.

Not to be outsmarted by a 50 year old clock, Chris contorts his way under the dash to replace his non-working ticker... at the cost of an achy back. The new bridge tolls get talked about & Ray recounts a story of how he lost a gas tank and it slid on wet leaves without igniting. The Mazda zip-tie exhaust repair gets re-done, and Ray rants about the way cable TV misrepresents music of the rock genre.
