#37 Rubber Stamped Drum and Bass - July 2010 - Judgement Day
22/06/2012 Duración: 02h06minTo follow my recent trance, breakbeat and house mixes, I thought it was about time for another jazzy, soulful, rolling, funky drum and bass one. Judgement Day is more chilled than my previous Drum and Bass mixes Sick Music and Everything's Different as the main room bangers i bought to make these mixes are just not being written at the moment. It is however really flowing and rolling and I have treated you to over 2hrs worth so it is perfect for a car journey or the like. I am sure I will be cranking this on the way to the Big Chill in August to help get me in the mood for the legendary Drum and Bass we get spoiled with there every year. I have used tunes from MRSA, Shapeshifter, DRS, Calibre, Wilkinson, Cyantific, Mindflow, Sub Focus, Danny Byrd, Underworld, Sigma and quite a few from Netsky the newest star to hit the big time from the Hospital Records stable. Please let me know if u are listening and liking, i really appreciate it. Feel free to pass this link on to anyone else that may want to listen.

#36 Rubber Stamped Breaks - June 2010 - Only You
22/06/2012 Duración: 01h33minThe inspiration for this mid month mix came from Jambasha's very own Spanish DJ and Producer Chevy One. Chevy has just completed a fat remix of a tune called Only you on Lot 49 records for Meat Katie and Dylan Rhymes feat. Iconical. The tune is front page in the beatport breakbeat charts..... If you are producing tunes then the front page of beatport is holy ground and where you want to be on a regular basis. Big respect to Chevy One for the tune I play it 2nd to last tune from the end. Please support Chevy and Jambasha and buy a copy from beatport it is only a dollar fifty or something. This mix was done using Traktor Scratch and it is literally the 2nd time I have switched it on. I am still learning and experimenting with various settings. There are a couple of glitches but if you don't try you don't learn. Enjoy the fat breaks. Rubber

#35 Rubber Stamped Trance - June 2010 - Live Forever
22/06/2012 Duración: 01h19minHello People, how are you doing? I hope you are all having a brilliant start to the summer whatever country you are in. I can't believe it is June already roll on Glasto and the Big Chill. To be honest I've been lacking inspiration for music over the last 6 weeks which is not normal for me. In order to combat this, I listened to the Above and Beyond podcast at full blast in my car then spent a few hours record shopping on Beatport solely for progressive, uplifting and trancier cuts of music. You will be pleased to know that I managed to get some wicked new tunes. I have just bought a Macbook and now have all the hardware and software necessary to start producing my own music. Big shout out to Chevy One and Adam Nyquist from the Jambasha crew and Greg Stainer from Radio 1 Dubai for helping me get setup. Time will tell whether I am any good at doing this or not so watch this space. After owning Serato scratch a few years ago I have also now purchased Traktor Scratch Pro in order to save me burning a million and

#33 Rubber Stamped Live - April 2010 - @ Ibiza White and Gold Party
22/06/2012 Duración: 04h29minThis is a 4 and half hour set recorded live from the Ibiza White and Golf Rooftop Party. What an amazing vibe we created with around 200 people. Most seemed to be on the dancefloor and it was totally going off. I myself was very drunk by the end. So much so when 1 of my tunes ran out after i had been for a toilet stop I thought my neighbours Rob and Chrissy had put the 80s filler music on, on purpose...... I also managed to play about 3 tunes twice by accident. My MP3 player only records for 2 hours before restarting so this is 3 mp3s glued together. Apologies for any skips etc. What a great nite see you all at the next one.......... Rubber

22/06/2012 Duración: 01h21minGoodbye January and Hello February, it's going to be a busy month. Results of the DJ Mag Top 50 Middle East DJs competition came out today and I came an unbelievable 13th. Thanks so much to all of you that voted. It's also my birthday and Flava's leaving do on the 12th Feb and as per last months update I am dj'ing at the Dubai Polo on 19th and with Greg Stainer at Zinc on 24th Feb. Shout out to Ada, Kas and all the Jambasha crew. Ada's final words to me in London as I was heading back to Dubai after Christmas were when are you going to do another Drum and Bass mix. Well my birthday present from my parents, sister and grandma was a fat Rockford Fosgate subwoofer which was installed in my car yesterday and with Ada's words still ringing in my ears I thought it was about time to have another go at mixing some D and B. I bought a load of tunes online, the majority coming from my favourite two D and B stables RAM and Hospital records. Big Respect to the Sub Focus, High Contrast, Danny Byrd, Blame and Netsky. The t

#26 Rubber Stamped Progressive Tech House - January 2010 - Another You Another Me
22/06/2012 Duración: 01h32minHappy New Year. I hope you all had as good a Christmas as I did. Jambasha v Dim Sum was considering the weather an amazing success and we all helped raise 400quid to go towards the 17grand that Patrick needs to build a new school for 300 plus kids in Burma. If you want to see me play live I will be rocking out a few parties in the Middle East over the next 6 weeks. I am playing a boat party see facebook invite and then I've also been booked to play at the Dubai Polo club's annual event as well as a return to Zinc on 24th Feb alongside the UAE's finest DJ Radio 1's Greg Stainer. The DJ Mag middle east poll closes tomorrow and we get the results on 1st Feb when the magazine is published. Fingers crossed with all of your votes I have made the top 50....... Anyway onto January's mix. If you remember Rubber Stamped January 2009 Let Freedom Ring then it's a similar style. I've gone for a fully progressive techy uplifting sound to help lift the January detox or New Year's resolution blues with a remix of the trance

#25 Rubber Stamped Progressive Tech Deep House - December 2009 - Off Topic
22/06/2012 Duración: 01h19minHello Everyone I hope you are having a great month. I can't believe that it is nearly Christmas already, I just don't know where the year goes. I looked at the webstats today and I have had an unbelievable 8500 downloads since the site was launched back in May. My mix this month is a slightly different vibe to November. It is more of a warm up set with deeper, techy rolling sounds with a sprinkle of more progressive tunes at the end. Danny Howells was my inspiration for this mix. For those of you in London don't forget the Jambasha Building Schools for Burma Christmas Party on December 23rd at Fluid in Farringdon. I will be playing upstairs in the cocktail bar as well as downstairs in the club so come have a few drinks and enjoy the tunes. If you are listening to these mixes plese drop me an email with some feedback at matt at djrubber.co.uk it is great motivation to do more mixes if I know you are listening. Nice One Matt

#24 Rubber Stamped House - November 2009 - How Soon is Now
22/06/2012 Duración: 01h19minWorking out where to start with my November Rubber Stamped was somewhat difficult. From a personal perspective alongside playing with Nick Warren and recording Rubber Stamped August 2009 Sick Music (my Jazzy, Soulful Drum and Bass mix) my October Rubber Stamped was one of my favourites yet. Nevertheless I managed to get my arse onto beatport.com and bought 14 tunes brand new today. 12 were new to me but I had been aware of 2 of them for 4 or 5 months but until today they had not been released. Nick Warren played the original mix of Downpipe by D Ramirez and Mark Knight v Underworld at Fratelli Club back in June and Sebastian Ingrosso rocked Fratelli club on the opening night May 22nd with what was at the time his new tune How Soon is Now. This tune is a main room banger if ever I heard one. If you like you can check out the youtube video wall on my homepage where you can see the crowds reaction when he dropped this in the club. To say it was going off is an understatement. My November mix starts off a bit dee

#23 Rubber Stamped Progressive House - October 2009 - Ultraviolet
22/06/2012 Duración: 01h14minHow this October mix happened was a real surprise! One minute I was bored at home playing Tiger Woods Golf and the next I was on Beatport.com searching for some fresh tunes to add to a few I had already. Before I knew it, I was in the mix and Rubber Stamped October 2009 Ultraviolet was born. Ultraviolet is a mix of tech and progessive house with a chillout tune chucked in at the beginning, a progessive breakz tune in the middle and an uplifting main room banger at the end. It also includes some tracks from Way Out West's (the legends - Jody Wisternoff and Nick Warren) new album that has just been released this month. You will recognise a couple of tunes from Nick's set with me at Fratelli Club back in June where he treated us a sneak preview of his new music that is only now being released. Enjoy the music, drill it out as loud as possible and if you like it, dislike it or are indifferent please take 2 mins to email me and tell me matt@djrubber.co.uk. It makes the world of difference to know that you are down

#22 Rubber Stamped Progressive House - September 2009 - The World We Knew Is Gone
22/06/2012 Duración: 01h18minI had enough new tunes in my crate after making my breaks mix a couple of days ago so I decided to record a new house/progressive/club mix as well. Hope you enjoy it as much as Sandy and I enjoyed this weekend gone. We just had a blinding time on the piss at a boat party and at the water park with Mr 4 Dex and a Sax himself Mikey Mattacola. It's all about the Ravanelli or the Simon Cowell..... Big Up Scottinho all of our thoughts are with you fella

#21 Rubber Stamped Breaks - September 2009 - Ghetto Funk
22/06/2012 Duración: 01h15minI have always loved my Breaks and in the early days Big Beat. I remember the trips to the beach club in Brighton for Fat Boy Slim's Big Beat Boutique. A Plump Night Out and The Stanton Session were two albums I bought and how the Plumps and Stantons moved onwards and upwards from there.... Other artists that have inspired me in this genre are Rogue Element, Krafty Cuts, A-Skillz, Vandal, General MIDI, Dan Magnan and the Drumattic Twins who rocked one of our best ever Jambasha parties. This won't be to everyone's taste but for those that like it fat and a bit tougher enjoy!

#20 Drum and Bass - Sick Music - Aug09
22/06/2012 Duración: 01h18minI have always loved my Drum and Bass and in the early days Jungle. Amongst others, people like Roni Size, LTJ Bukem, London Elektricity, Logistics, High Contrast, Aphrodite, John B and Kruder and Dorfmeister have influenced me musically. This is my first ever attempt at a drum and bass mix. I have used lots of hospital records soulful jazzy funky rolling drum and bass. I loved making it and I hope you like listening to it as well.

#19 Trance - Unforgivable - Jul09
22/06/2012 Duración: 01h13minThis mix includes many of the tunes I used in my warm up set at Club Fratelli for the visit of German Trance Legends Stoneface and Terminal and Ronski Speed. These both were classic nights at Fratelli Club with the crowd going off right from the start of the night. I will not forget either of these sets and have to say I loved my 2nd and 3rd trance sets just as much as my first with Blank and Jones

#18 Rubber and Nick Warren Live @ Fratelli Club - Jun09
22/06/2012 Duración: 04h58minThis is a 5 hour set recorded live from Club Fratelli. This was a dream come true for me to be playing alongside the Godfather of Global Underground and one half of Way Out West Mr Nick Warren. The first 2 hours 45 minutes is me and the final 2 hours 15 mins Nick. I think it is fair to say we rocked it, I hope you enjoy the mix as much as we did making it!
