Drawing encouraging insights from the story of the Gadarene demoniac's deliverance, Pastor Olen Griffing declares the amazing truth of how difficult things can come to an end through the ministry of Jesus Christ: while He also uses them to set us up for something great that we never dreamed of.

From the pages of the Book of Job, more truth is declared concerning how to help someone who is wrestling with hopelessness; as well as the need to realize that none of know it all. In this teaching, vital keys are shared to empower the hearer to get outside the routine ruts of life and to do something kind for those in need of encouragement.

While in the midst of hopelessness and despair, Job's friends made matters worse, by trying to make sense of it all, through blaming the poor guy for all of his troubles. In this talk, the hearer is challenged to help the hopeless and to not make things worse for them. The sermon concludes with a wonderful solo sung by George Huff, entitled, "Stand".

To bring hope to a world struggling with hopelessness, our own hope must be strong and abounding. Through pursuing God as the God of hope, believing the truth of the Gospel and dealing with all our "hope robbers", our own hope is made stronger by the power and person of the Holy Spirit, as we allow Him to fill us often.
