Many failed attempts have been made to dodge or dilute the truth of Hebrews 10:26-31; which is often done by using other verses about our security as believers; as they can appear on the surface to be contradictory. However, in doing so, this approach ignores the facts that the context - both preceding and following - clearly addresses the entire text of Hebrews 10 to believers. In this segment from a larger sermon, Pastor Alan Latta teaches these verses - Hebrews 10:26-31 - must be understood in context and that this alleged dichotomy is like one of the many paradoxes* in God's created world; thus bringing balance to our understanding of His eternal truth; which proclaims that Jesus Christ saves from both the penalty and the power of sin. While we can be secure as believers, to live in continual sin is not a good thing; because no liars, thieves, and fornicators - etcetera , etcetera- are going to be in Heaven. Having learned much about the greatness of Jesus, the writer of Hebrews then focuses on how we should live righteously in the now.

Inspired by the access we now have to Almighty God - through Christ's finished work and His ongoing High Priestly ministry - let us draw near to Him in worship and repentance, holding fast to His hope giving Word, and assembling with other believers; in order to stir up love and good works.

Be inspired in light of Christ's one new covenant sacrifice in comparison to the old covenant's many continuous daily and yearly sacrifices.

Be blessed and encouraged as Pastor Rafael Cruz shares the history of our nation and our rights as Christians to have a voice and stand for our beliefs.

Gain understanding from the ministry of Pastor Kerry Kirkwood; as he declares often neglected truths and teaches important things about the benefits we have in Christ.
