The new year rings in hope of new beginnings, new opportunities and a fresh start. This 2025 we are venturing to follow Jesus in proven ways that Christians have found helpful for centuries. The goal is rather simple, be with Jesus, become like Jesus and to do as He did. Each month of this series we will focus on a different spiritual practice with the goal to intentionally allow it to shape our lives. I think it will be refreshing, challenging and maybe even a bit overwhelming. Creating new pathways and habits with God will tend to disrupt other places in our lives. The hope is we become more and more like Jesus. Experiencing God everyday is God’s original design and call to all of us. One of the most iconic songs we sing during Advent is "Silent Night, Holy Night." Yet, the events surrounding the birth of Jesus were far from silent or serene. The Star of David first appeared to the Magi, the shepherds, and to the world, but for many, its significance went unnoticed. Thousands of people saw the star but remained unaware of the greatest event in history unfolding before them, continuing to live as they always had. As we conclude our final message of 2024, we invite you to "Come and Adore," for our Savior is born!

The Christmas story is timeless. We experience the wonder, humility and hope of our faith all at once. The story reminds us that God came after us and spans eternity to do so. The story of Jesus' birth is simple enough for a child to grasp and so profound that it leaves theologians gasping for words. Sunday we will gather all ages together to tell this wonderful story of “Immanuel, God with us” Matthew 1:23

Have you ever found yourself on the outside looking in? It’s a lonely feeling—being left out or not invited. Many people assume faith works the same way: that it’s only for a select few, the chosen, or those who take it seriously enough. In fact, some religions emphasize and even celebrate this kind of exclusivity. But the story of Christmas changes everything. The way God entered the world through Jesus completely disrupts the idea of a closed circle—an exclusive club for the privileged few. Christ’s humble birth shows us that everyone is welcome, everyone is invited. There’s no secret handshake, no special membership, no insiders-only group. This week, we’ll explore how the birth of Jesus the Messiah, removes all barriers that might keep people from approaching God. Through Him, everyone is free to draw close.

The Advent season is upon us, gently calling us to pause and reflect on the profound story of Christmas. With humbled hearts, let us share a hope rooted in God’s faithfulness, which leads us to the manger where our Savior was born. Let us come with reverence, humility, and joyful anticipation.

God invited everyone—from humble shepherds to royal Magi, from close family to passing strangers—to witness the miracle of the manger. Their responses reflected a heavenly scene of wonder, worship, and adoration. This Christmas season, the invitation remains open to “come adore” the Savior given to us.

Gratitude is the key that opens the church doors to the outside world. True thankfulness is a wellspring of joy that overflows from within our hearts that leads us to worship the One who sent His very own Son. When we experience deep gratitude for what God has given us, it inspires an outward servitude and brings the eternal blessings that only the Church can provide. In today's sermon message, we will explore the story of a woman who gave up her most prized possessions to become a blessing to others.

Isn't it wonderful that we all are a masterpiece created by God. To do His works and deeds which He has prepared for us in advance. Therefore, as a church, we must live our lives worthy of the masterpiece that He created us to be. This morning, we are going to deep dive into the heart of God who is full of compassion and his desire for His church to DO the same!

Sermon on Zoom In Yellowstone National Park the most famous attraction is "Old Faithful!" It's not the biggest nor the most powerful geyser in the park, but it's the most popular tourist attraction because of its regularity and consistency. Of all the attributes that people may possess, be it genius or competence, faithfulness always tops the list. In Sunday's message God demonstrates His goodness and faithfulness to Hosea. What is interesting about the book of Esther is that the name of God is never mentioned. And sometimes in the midst of the storm, we wonder, "Where is God?" And too often in our faith journey, we become anxious about Him not showing up but in this very book God does show up! And we see providence and we witness His sovereignty. And maybe God's name is withheld on purpose because God wants us to have a breakthrough in our faith - moving from the common to UNcommon. In part 2 of Esther's story, we see God silently moving behind the scenes as Esther begins to pray and fast.

In our overpopulated world, it is easy to underestimate the significance of ONE. It is easy to underestimate the value of ONE's faith. Today, we will see how ONE person's "UNcommon" faith, her prayers and fasting, saved the whole entire Jewish nation!

Barnabas is a name far less well known than his companion Paul, yet scripture shows us that Barnabas was "a good man whom the Holy Spirit...endowed with exceptional faith" Acts 11:24. Join us Sunday to hearthe Spirit-led adventures of the early church and the humble leadership of a man called Barnabas. Barnabas' faithful obedience was used by God to spread the good news of Jesus. Few know his name, but most of us can trace our own faith back to the faithfulness of this humble follower of Jesus.

Noah had uncommon faith not because of the large risky project of building and ark. Noah walked with God faithfully in the worse time in human history. Noah was found righteous. He then faithfully did everything God ask of him. He did the small thing right and was trusted with then with the lager things that saved humankind.
