With Bayonetta 3, Soul Calibur VI, GTFO, Witchfire and more announced, 2018 is going to be an exciting year. Ryan Reynolds cast as Detective Pikachu, Secret of Mana remake gets physical release, a Mega Man X collection announced and finally Capcom is making a new Mega Man game! A slew of controversy surrounding Star Wars - Battlefront II involving Reddit comments and a CNN report cause EA to suspend their loot boxes/microtransactions. A major blow indeed. Also in this episode, we discuss Thor: Ragnarok, the Punisher series, Black Friday sales, and the benefits of 4K. And in our convo of the week, we pick some of the winners for the Game Award nominees.

We get right into it folks on epsiode 93. The Xbox One X got delivered and we share our thoughts thus far. Also, we share some Xbox memories from years past. In the news, Microsoft invests in studios to make more first party exclusives, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot thinks theirs at least two more years in this generations consoles, rumors of a Superman game from developer Rocksteady debunked, and the Ninja Turtles are coming to Injustice 2.

Wolfenstein! Assassin's Creed! Stranger Things! Mario Odyssey! They all dropped and we cover them all. October 27th, 2017 is going down as one of the best days for gaming and entertainment ever. We cover all three AAA titles in our review round up and wax a little poetic on Mike and company in Stranger Things. Episode 91 is a good one this week. Both Nintendo and Microsoft dropped big system updates for the Xbox and Switch, we delve into all the new features. Hints drop via a tweet that a patent related to Gameboy has been filed. Of course we speculate on what games would potentially be on it in our convo of the week. In the news, the 3rd Nintendo World Championships just happened, Respwan Entertainment announced a new VR game that's not Titanfall or Star Wars related, Mario Odyssey gets it's first scrore and it's a perfect 10 and news drops that Yoshi was originally intended to be a horse. Some exciting news this week in gaming. It turns out some folks who preordered the SNES Classic from Amazon still haven't received them, Retro City Rampage gets a physical deluxe version coming to the Switch, PlayStation CEO Andrew House steps down, and apparently MVC Infinite's budget was half the amount of Street Fighter V's DLC. How crazy is that?! Also, designer and programmer Charles Randal wrote a long missive last week stating that devs would be more candid if gamers weren't so toxic. We dissect his statement and what it means for gamers and devs alike in this weeks convo of the week and one of us managed to score a ticket to Comic Con. Oh it's here! The SNES Classic has dropped and boy is it good. We both managed to snag one and it seems like supplies are much better than when the NES came out. We recount our journey to the little gray box. Also, in the news, Ataribox gets a price tag and some more info,  Super Mario Run gets a content update, a Commodore 64 mini is in the works, the video game actors strike is set to end soon, and Sonic partners up with an unlikely restaurant franchise. Oh we got a good one today. We got some personal stories involving Amazon Echo, Broken Age, and Gamestop. The Tokyo Game Show invades our news, Nintendo pays a beautiful tribute to former president who passed Satoru Iwata, and gaming website The Sixth Axis get in some hot water over their NBA 2K18 review. In our convo of the week, we try to guess each others favorite gaming franchise and our favorite game of all time and wax a little poetic on why we love them.

Our episode is jam packed this week with not one but two convos of the week. Pewdiepie is in hot water for dropping the N word in a Playerunknowns Battleground live stream and we discuss the ramifications of that. Also, Dean Takahaski from VentureBeat uploads an embarrassing video of him struggling with the beginning tutorial of Cuphead and the internet explodes. We discuss if being good at videogames is a requirement. In the news, Nintendo exec comments on the SNES Classic availability, the NES Classic is coming back to stores, Blizzard to open it's own eSports arena, Toys 'R Us files for bankruptcy, and Mario is no longer a plumber according to Nintendo. We've done it folks! We've made it two whole years in the podcasting game. We go over our highlights of the Nintendo Indie Showcase, the "Ninties", some Penny Arcade Expo news, news on NBA 2K18 for the Switch, and Gamestop unveils it's "Elite Gamer" level subscription. In our convo of the week, we reminisce on how we started this whole thing. It's been a blast so far thanks in part to all our great fans. Here's to the next two.

Microsoft announced that One X preorders are live and they quickly sold out, cross network play between Xbox and Playstation may be coming, Just Cause devs announce a new action RPG game and KFC gets in on the whole VR thing and it's amazing. Oh, Limited Run Games, we both love and hate your company. We put them up in the spotlight for this week's convo of the week. We have lots of news from Nintendo; the Nintendo World Championship is coming back again and being held in our fair NYC, new limited edition Samus 3DS coming soon, and Nintendo gets sued over a Joy-Con patent. X-Box and Playstation get OS updates, Valve has a new game coming and it's not Half-Life 3, and eSports may be coming to the 2024 Olympics. Also, we talk about our weekend events and Danny sores a Atari 2600 Junior with a set of knobs.
