Word Of The Bay

Nick and Kyle return for the most boring time in sports! The guys re-hash Super Bowl talk, and Peyton Manning's potential fall from grace. The guys get into their favorite chips and reminice about growing up fat. The Lightning's latest slump is discussed as it the upcoming spring traning season.  

Kyle Barber (@K_Barber9) joins Nick and Kyle to talk about the world of Tampa sports. They start off with a little pro-bowl discussion, Todd Monken as the Buccanees offensive coordinator, Banks and Verner returning, and other cool Bucs topics. After its onto the Rays where we discuss the Jake McGee trade and the potential line-up for 2015. Then a long discussion about Drouin, and the Tampa bay market. 

Anthony @StrikeTwiceTB joins to talk about the latest allegations aginst Patrick Kane. After they break down the Drouin sitiation and the possible moves of the franchise. Kyle talks about the Mike Smith hiring for the Buccaneers and the guys talk about the divisional playoffs and the future of the Buccaners. 

Justin Pawlowski joins the show to talk about the Bucs hiring Dirk Koetter as the newest head coach. The guys then speculate on possible defensive coordinators. Justin, Nick, and Kyle pick their winners in the NFL playoffs. After the break Nick and Kyle talk about the Rays stadium deal and the Lightnings winning streak. 

The Word Of The Bay guys comment on the latest addtions to the MLB hall of fame. They then come up with a solution to finally get Barry Bonds into the Hall of Fame. Kyle broaches the hockey topic and the goings on with Jonathan Drouin's trade request. After the break Kyle jumps in to talk about Lovie Smith's dismisal from the Buccaneers, and the guys talk about the ROY voting and make their predictions on the NFL wildcard playoff round.

The WOTB crew banter about their christmas presents, and the wonder that is Rick & Morty. Lovie Smith's hot seat is discussed in length and both guys agree that while Lovie isn't doing well, he should still keep his job. The boys both ponder the Lightning's issues while avoiding the topic of Stamkos. Then its back to football as we talk about various topics around the league. 

Nick and Kyle converse over the internet abou topics surrounding Tampa Bay sports. First, Stu Sternberg and his commments on the difficulties of owning a small market team. Nick talks about the salitness surrounding Joe Maddon slowly subsiding. Nick and Kyle choose to beat a dead horse by talking about Stammer again. After the break the guys talk about last Sunday's loss to the Saints.

Nick and Kyle talk about the big win over the Falcons last Sunday. After the break they discuss Jon Cooper's contract and David's Price's comments on his playoff record.

Hey! Bucs won two in a row! Nick and Kyle talk about that and how much the Buccaneers have improved. Kyle tempers expectations for the furture and Nick generally agrees. The guys talk about the Lovie era and the improvements on the offensive and defensive side of the ball.    After the break the guys talk about the split in the Lightning fanbase and the Sticks Of Fire. 

Kyle and Jonathan talk about the wedding that was and the reason is not on the podcast. After Derick Schroeppel joins to talk about the Buccaneers win and the upcoming game.
