Word Of The Bay

Recorded 1/2/14: Nick, Jonathan and Kyle are posed a few important questions. Nick and Kyle get all homery about Lovie Smith, Jonathan gets all homery about the Packers, and the guys all make halariously bad playoff picks. With a little strange news at the end.  

Robert Lamb joins Kyle and Jonathan to talk about some umcoming podcasts the three will be working on. The guys also talk baseball, Oliver Stone, disaster movies and drink preferences.  

The guys go into discussion about NASCAR, WWE and the fictional ESPN station, "the Ocho." The guys discuss a some recent Tampa sports news. Games are played, laughs are had. 

The boys celebrate the holidays, M. Night Shyamalan movies, the 20th podcast and the triumphant return of Nick. He even celebrates by calling an Ohio State loss and fall from 2 in the nation. 

Kyle and Johnathan talk zombies, the Bay Of Pigs, War Bonds, PEDs, Brady and the MLB hall of fame. 

Kyle and Johnathan talk about the recent crime wave affecting St. Petersburg. The guys talk baseball and Kyle gets opponionated on (what else?) PEDs. Johnathan has prepared both a quiz and some quiz theme music for Kyle. The guys talk recent movies and Kyle professes his love for the JJ Abrams Star Trek movies. 

Nick (@inkmannick) returns to talk about the Buccaneer's win on monday night. Kyle (@kappley) has got a story to tell, he eventually finds the end. Nick poses the question to Kyle: Given two billion dollars, what would you do to Tropicana Field? Hilarity ensues, or doesn't. You be the judge. Word of the Baaaaaay!

The guys also talk podcasting, beer, polotics, why Bruno Mars will never be Micheal Jackson, Whoppers with Bacon and channel their inner raido voices. Nick and Kyle are joined by Johnathan once more discuss sports and the world around it. Johnathan gets heavy about Obama care, the guys talk about Richie Incognito gets slightly racist, and Nick and Johnathan put their pop-culture knowledge to the test.

In which Nick and Kyle decide that ducks make for terrible role models. Kyle offically puts Greg Schiano on notice. Both guys break down their thoughts on the Buccaneers loss to the Jets on Sunday. Nick ponders the role of a "hitman" in the NFL. Both guys once again discuss preformance enhancing drugs. Nick inadvertently causes Kyle to have a childhood revalation. Kyle takes his shot as jinxing the Rays. 

Kyle takes a moment ensure Nick is comfortable. Kyle talks about life in a studio apartment, and outs himself as a typical Tampa sports fan. Both guys talk Rays baseball and roster expansions. Kyle makes his case for a position in the Carvel marketing department. Nick explains why Ben Affleck is a bad choice for Batman, while Kyle tries his best to explain that Affleck was da bomb in Phantoms. Both guys dicuss the Buccaneers and training camp. 

Nick and Kyle dive into the A-Rod PED scandle, dead horses are beat. Kyle breaks down why Mark Sanchez and other USC quaterbacks suck. Kyle explains why Payton Manning should purse a career in acting and Nick explains why he hates Joe Buck. Nick and Kyle both agree that while Riley Cooper is propably racist, nobody should care what white people say at country concerns. Both guys discuss training camp ACL injuries. 

Nick and Kyle discuss birthday/christmas logistics. Both guys ponder weather we should really be looking up to professional athletes. Kyle continues to takes shots at the ESPN news machine. Both guys discuss what makes a good quaraterback. Kyle once agains dawns his tin-foil hat to talk about preformance enhancing drugs in sports. 

Nick and Kyle turn once again to their good friend alcohol for content. Kyle discusses the impact of WW2 on chocolate making. Nick once again has to break down hockey to Kyle. While Kyle ponder weather a bad player baring his name would then be a disgrace. Both guys reflect on Nik Wallenda. Nick and Kyle are then joined by Ryan, more sports talk and mild hilarity ensues.

Nick and Kyle get a little sauced. They talk about female double plays. Kyle is having more car problems. Both guys conclude that the NHL killed any shot of Lecavalier playing out his careeer as a Lightining. Kyle takes a shot at defending Aaron Hernandez. Both guys try to avoid getting controversial on Sapp V Strahan, but in the end they just look like homers. 

Kyle talks about his weekend and gets opponionated about being "gulten free." Both guys are glad to be rid of BJ Upton and Carlos Pena. Kyle questions Ben Zobrist's real motives. Nick takes up the sheild to defend the bay-area fan base, and Kyle takes a shot at being Roger Goodell.

Nick and Kyle talk co-ed softball and Evan Longoria's approach with bases loaded. Nick walks Kyle though the Stanley Cup finals, and Kyle did not have a very good week.
