Over the weekend, the US accused Iran of attacking a commercial oil tanker near the Strait of Hormuz. Tehran says those strikes violated the ceasefire deal and responded by launching missiles and drones at US military facilities in Kuwait and Bahrain. In a statement, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said responsibility for restoring the safe flow of commercial shipping through the Strait of Hormuz rests with Tehran alone.
