Sometimes you might find that your podcast's source material is no longer available. If this happens to you, there are several decisions that have to be made for the future in the show. Many industries have a code of ethics established for their industry, but Podcasting doesn't have anything formally established. In this episode we discuss some things that we've seen over the years (and some things that we've had conversations with other podcasters) that might be a consideration when discussing Podcasting Ethics. Our segment isn't intended to suggest podcasting ethics (that's well beyond our control), but just to highlight some of the things that we've seen happening in podcasting that we feel you should be aware of, and how it can impact you as a podcaster. We've often spoken about how to podcast with co-hosts remotely, but what about the situations where you're going to record in the same room together? Things can actually be a lot different (and more complex in some ways) when you're recording multiple people in the same room together. In this episode we'll discuss some best practices and share some of our experiences when recording with other people in the same room. In this week's Better Podcasting Download, we discuss the hot-off-the-presses email from Apple about the use of podcast Title Tags, and what their expectation is for these.
