An up-and-down season thus far has produced yet another up-and-down week for the Boston Celtics.  After Friday night’s huge win against the Atlanta Hawks, it finished on a big up as the Celts have clawed their way back to .500.  It will be hard to continue it today as the Celtics will travel to play Russell Westbrook and possibly Kevin Durant as they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder.  Justin Poulin will take about today’s game briefly with Larry H. Russell in the American Farmer’s Network Pre-Game segment. The Boston Celtics are off to a pretty average start.  They’re just 2-3 and even after Friday’s big win against the Washington Wizards, no one yet knows who fits where or what works.  Frequent Celtics Beat target Jared Sullinger put together a strong performance.  Should he be the Celts starting power forward? The Boston Celtics and the NBA season is underway.  Good for the NBA, not so good for the Celtics, who at 1-1 don’t look all too hot after a lackluster performance against the Toronto Raptors.  And with the San Antonio Spurs coming to town, it may very well be 1-2.  Celtics Beat will host a pre-game segment with LHR and Nick Gelso, and it won’t sound all too positive.  The roster seems out of synch and it may take time to work things out. With the slow start comes disappointments.  The biggest so far seems to be David Lee.  Is his time almost up? Training camp is now officially underway for the Boston Celtics and the rest of the NBA.  Finally something of substance.  What is the primary angle of this training camp? Summer is all but over as it’s Labor Day weekend and training camps across the NBA and for the Boston Celtics open within the month.  One time many Celtics fans will keep an eye on this season will be the Brooklyn Nets, who must convey their 2016 draft choice to the Boston Celtics with no other circumstances.  Back when Danny Ainge traded Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce for these draft choices, many felt the Celtics got themselves a haul.  Will these picks rebuild the franchise and are they the most valuable commodities that Danny Ainge possesses? From the NBA season to the off-season: amassing the roster for the 2016 Boston Celtics and other NBA teams has begun.  Free agency kicked off back on Wednesday and the Celtics struck with Toronto Raptors Amir Johnson while also re-upping Jonas Jerebko and Jae Crowder.   Yay or Nay? Larry H. Russell gives it a meh while also talking many fans off the bridge.  The Celtics rainy day fun is still loaded and it turns out that certain options just didn’t present themselves.  There’s no reason to be upset but unfortunately the patience must continue.  In the mind of one LHR, he doesn’t think that Boston being unable to land a big fish is an indictment on Boston but what do you think?
