Today we are joined with punk rock legend John Wright to celebrate his 40 plus year legacy with the band Nomeansno and his current project Dead Bob! Dead Bob has recently released a new album titled "Life Like" and around hearing about how that came together, John tells us what the Canadian punk scene was like in the 70's and 80's, why he is banned in the country of Belarus, how punk was considered dangerous around Europe, a retrospective on Nomeansno and the future of Dead Bob.

Today we are joined with one of the horror queens of the screen Devanny Pinn around her directorial debut for a film called The Black Mass. Over the past decade you have seen her prevail or get absolutely slaughtered in some of the most famous and fun campy horror movies such as The Flood, Piranha 3D, and most likely anything that involves a 3 headed shark. She has even murdered our boy Danny Trejo with a chainsaw. Her new movie The Black Mass takes a very different approach by telling a horrific true crime story of the 70's with one of the most famous serial killers in history. The film hyper focuses on a specific real incident that often gets over looked by the media, takes a real take of that period of time, and Devanny explains that the intentions of this movie were to honor both the victims and survivors of these acts. Was cool to hear her break down the layers of thoughts of bringing this film to like as she believes that "Horror can both entertain and educate".

Today we are joined with singer/songwriter and former Cradle of Filth member Lindsay Schoolcraft. We take a dive into her journey of learning a plethora of instruments and what lead her into expressing her signature sound that walks the line of beauty and darkness. After a 10 year hiatus we are joined for a mind blowing chat with Job For A Cowboy's Nick Schendzielos around their latest album release Moon Healer. We are shocked to learn that the decade absence was actually planned, and the new album is a conceptual follow up to their 2014 release Sun Eater. Today we are joined with the legend and black metal pioneer Ihsahn (of Emperor!) around his new self titled solo album that is an absolute cinematic soundscape that combines the influences orchestral film scores, story telling, and his natural expression of extreme metal. Ihsahn has a brilliant mind and authentic approach to his creative process since he set out on his musical journey in the early 90's. It was an absolute pleasure to pick his brain, learn about his philosophies of being an artist, and lets us know after all these years "Is he still having fun making music?"

One thing that locked us into this film was the realistic real life human tone it had and Rachel explains her process and the keys of just how that vibe was brought to life. Also Dave explains to us the difference of performing comedy in a film setting Vs doing live standup on stage, and ends this interview with a hilarious story about bombing.

Today we catch up with one of our all time favorite Juno nominated singer/songwriters STORRY. Last time she joined us we dove into her album "CH III: The Come Up" that told her real life journey of escaping an abusive relationship and being a sex worker. STORRY has currently finished recording a prequel album (CH II) that goes back to the first day she stepped into that world, and around hearing about her music, this episode is truly about self love and just being a human. After this convo I felt uplifted and inspired. A lot of those feeling came from the life knowledge STORRY shares with us from her personal internal reflections after recently returning from an intense 10 day long silent meditation retreat, and telling us what exactly happens to your brain when you are not allowed to speak and completely disconnect yourself technology and the constant static of this world.

He currently helped make two bangers that recently hit the theaters titled "Your Lucky Day" and "Butcher's Crossing" staring Nicolas Cage.
