Today we are joined with the founder and crew behind GZ Battles, Gully TK, Nate Sosa and Chubbs McForty. GZ Battles is a direct affiliation with the famous King of the Dot rap battles. It started out as a concept to develop talent to get ready for the big stage, but has grown into it's own highly competitive scene that has branch out beyond the city of Toronto (Vancouver, Detroit, Arizona, LA and more).

Today's episode features Bobby McIntosh and Ryley Murray of the cinematic orchestral epic hip hop duo The Crve! Their story into making music together is a love story. Along with the tale of The Crve's inception, they explain their unique creative process and untraditional way to release every song they make with a music video. Also explain the buzz they created through a live show they put on titled "The Decision" that took a stand against the Jian Gomeshi trails and sexually abused women. Bobby also gives us insight and perception from making music backed by a major label to doing everything DIY and independently.

Today's episode features musician Johnny Shay who recently moved into the city of Toronto to embark on his career as a solo artist. He's got a new video for his debut track "In The Wild" that hit 5000 plays on the first day of it's release. He also tells us a compelling story of him returning to the spot of where he shot the video and having to save someones life.

This weeks episode features the insanely talented Kyle James Smith. He has a new web comic out right now that he wrote and illustrated called "Blackmouth". We tap into the creative process and influences behind this epicly dark masterpiece, and like always on this show we shoot the shit about many other random topics.

This week Voltang is back! They got a new music video out titled "Garbage People". You hear all about the insane process of them creating that, as well as a plethora of other topics such as touring life, new band members, band health and more. Many laughs and drinks were shared in this one!

Today on the show we are joined with Eddy I. He is young musician/battle rapper that resides in Staten Island, NY who will give you a positive outlook towards the next generation of hip hop artists. You'll hear all about his inception as an artist, and will put you in his shoes on how it was like to go toe to toe against one of the most respected emcees (Ness Lee) on the KOTD main stage last week.
